The AIC International Secretariat, located in Louvain-la-Neuve
(Belgium), carries out different duties :

- Duty of coordination : international
secretariat is at the center of AIC communication
: it is via the Secretariat that news from national
associations and external information go through.
It is the intermediary between the Executive Board
members and the different AIC associations.
- Duty of management : international
secretariat carries out ordinary management of the
association (administrative tasks, mailing to associations,
writing of meeting reports, translation, publication
of training documents, accountancy, etc.…)
- Duty of training : international
Secretariat collaborates to the organization of international
seminars, visits, events, to elaborating training
documents.
- Duty of support to projects :
the Project Service of the Secretariat supports some
projects undertaken by the volunteers in the field.
It also carries out projects of international seminars
organization, ensures the follow-up and takes part
in the search for financing. It coordinates twinning
between national associations or local AIC groups.
The international Secretariat is made up of 4 permanent
people and a team of volunteers.
