AIC SOLIDARITE ASBL
AIC Solidarity ASBL supports
the « work in project form” of initiatives
identified and implemented by AIC volunteers in developping
countries, initiatives for and by people in situation
of poverty. Thanks to the analysis of local situation
and a tight collaboration with the beneficiaries, projects
are responding to local needs detected at grassroot
level.
AIC-Solidarity programs aims the support of projects
and training of local teams:
- Support of projects means to help the volunteers
to plan, evaluate, follow up and find financing for
their projects. This mission is done through a decentralized
structure supported by regional and national projects
coordinators. Moreover, AIC-Solidarity encourages twinnings
between local groups.
- Training aims to build up efficiency of projects initiated
by AIC volunteers. Thanks to its communication network,
AIC-Solidarity disseminates information regarding the
latest development issues (gender awareness, domestic
violence, micro-credit, social economy, etc…)
