Objectives of the project:
- To be time-saving for women,
- To make work easier for women,
- To save transport money,
- To improve revenues of women and families.

History of the project:
This project is situated in Tcholliré, Northern
Cameroon, near the frontier with Chad. The project saw
the light thanks to the initiative of 15 women from
the village, members of the St. Eugene Parish of Mazenod
in Tcholliré, Diocese of Garoua. These women
met to discuss about their living conditions and how
to improve them. That is why they decided to build a
maize mill (staple diet of families).
Some women involved in the project had already been
responsible for activities in the parish and the village.
The Daughters of Charity teach them the elementary knowledge
of management and accountancy they need to manage the
mill.
Beneficiaries:
AIC volunteers from Tcholliré and other persons
from the village and the neighborhood.

Local contribution: purchase of land and workforces
are in charge of AIC volunteers.
