Objectives :
General Objective : to improve the socio-economic level
of women and their families.
Specific Objectives :
- Develop new handicraft skills of 40 local women
- Bring the women together and give them sewing lessons
Immediate Objectives :
Buy material to equip the sewing workroom.
Activities :
- Train two women to operate the sewing machines and
to become capable to teach other women of the region.
- Equip the Parish house and set up sewing machines
- The workroom should be safe and operational
- Workshop Promotion and registrations
- Sewing lessons
Project :
Because of the crisis that especially affects the region
of San Fernando " The Selva" population, and
especially women, have less and less opportunity to
get an education. The technical training are nearly
non-existent, although women are very eager to learn
because they want to create cooperatives.
Therefore, women of the region gathered to get some
training with the view of being able to face the country
difficult financial situation and to improve their living
conditions.
Recipients :
40 women from 18 to 35 years old, higher education level
Total budget : 5.510
USD or 5.044 €
Amount requested : 3.630 USD or 3.522 €
Project is entirely financed.
