On Sunday 12th June 2016, more than 50 friends and supporters of AIC got up early to participate in a bird-watching walk organized by the AIC International Secretariat. On the agenda for the morning: a 3.5 hour walk through fields and forests around Grez-Doiceau in Belgium. Enthusiastic guides allowed the participants to observe different birds, listen to their songs and most importantly, learn to pay attention to the nature around them. The morning finished with a lovely aperitif. It was a good opportunity to get together, speak about AIC, publicize our activities and raise some money.

The participants were intrigued and delighted. Many of them even offered to support the Secretariat in various different areas. An event to repeat next year, for sure!

“Thank you for this wonderful morning full of interesting and enjoyable discoveries! It was very nice to meet you all during this beautiful walk followed by a delicious and copious aperitif. I congratulate you wholeheartedly for AIC’s work”, writes Martine, one of the participants.
