In this video, we share some of the highlights of the AIC International Assembly of Delegates held in Frascati, near Rome in Italy, from 21st to 24th March 2023.
As the video shows, international meetings are always a unique opportunity to receive training and learn from one another, share experiences and best practices, strengthen ties between AIC volunteers from all over the world and define together the AIC priorities that will guide us over the next three years. The video also reminds us that the experience of participating in an international assembly encourages and gives new momentum to local groups so that we can pursue together our common mission: to change the world in order to build a fairer society, especially for our most disadvantaged brothers and sisters.
Between the excerpts from speeches, project presentations and group work, you can hear some testimonials from participants, who tell us what struck them the most during the event and what they take away from it as they return to their countries.
Highlights of the Assembly include a public audience with Pope Francis at the Vatican and the election of a new international executive board.
